Gibbsy! Sweet Gibbsy!

Hello readers, and welcome to another blog entry by yours truly, That Conservative College Guy. We got a real comedy piece for you today, from Mr. Robert Gibbs, Obama puppet, extraordinaire.

http://www.breitbart.tv/white-house-reporters-grill-gibbs-over-selected-questions-for-obama/

Now, if you noticed, you could almost see the strings on our boy Gibbsy. There's a good reason why Mr. Gibbs can't answer any non-prearranged questions. He didn't have the script from the boss! But if you e-mail the question, Bobby can talk to his puppeteer and find out what to say next. Heaven forbid he would have to think for himself. It's not even that though. The boss doesn't know what he's doing either. Maybe he hasn't got his script from the teleprompter...

In any event, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.

EPA: An Agency in conflict

This is heavier reading than I normally ask for you guys to read, but this is just too rich.

http://cei.org/cei_files/fm/active/0/DOC062509-004.pdf

The EPA itself has suppressed a memo from within itself that sheds massive doubt on "Global Climate Change." Short and sweet, the reason it's been made to be hush-hush is because Cap and Trade was essential for the anointed one to pass.

Until next time, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.

Hummers are better for the environment than a Prius. True story.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/20/AR2009062001523.html

Hey folks. Sorry I've been away so long, but this is just something I found that's just... Hilarious, to say the least.

The article is fairly self explanatory, and easy ammo against the Liberal environmental nutjobs. Over the life of the Prius, it's cost per mile is $2.87, due to its high cost of production, maintenance, and disposal. Most of that extra costs comes from producing and disposing of the batteries, which is worse for the environment than just driving a H3. Oh, the H3? $2.07 per lifetime mile. Whoops. Guess the Prius isn't the way to save the earth...

An Identity Crisis

Welcome back folks, sorry about the break, and this post isn't based on news, but more on my own observations. As a conservative, I'm proud to say it. I always will be, and that's a good thing.

However, I've noticed something about liberals. When ever asked about their political stance, they cling to the title of "moderate" even though they've sided with the left on 11/12 issues. This is to anyone who reads this blog. Be proud of who you are. If you're a liberal, be a liberal. Don't hide behind the title of moderate if you are a liberal. If you're a conservative, be a conservative. Simple. Granted, if I was a liberal, I'd be ashamed of myself too, but if you truly believe everything you've supported, be proud of it. If not, re-evaluate yourself.

The Truth will set you free. Provided the Democratic Congress allows you to speak.

Great story here today folks. I've spoke on "Global Warming" before, informing you of facts that paint a clear picture of what "Global Warming" actually is. Now, you and I know the truth about it. It's garbage. It's nothing more than a political ploy. But millions of Americans are still suckered into this movement now conveniently "Global Climate Change." So, you'd think they'd have more people speak out on it in mass media and in the government, right?

Wrong.

http://www.climatedepot.com/a/429/Report-Democrats-Refuse-to-Allow-Skeptic-to-Testify-Alongside-Gore-At-Congressional-Hearing

What's wrong with some healthy debate? Afraid of competing in the arena of ideas, congress? Of course they are. They know they would lose. And once it's exposed as a sham, it will cause massive damage to the Democratic Party. There's too much at stake for someone to speak out on a national level about "Global Climate Change"

It's funny how evidence just comes out like that.

Good evening, my readers and welcome to another edition of That Conservative College Guy. Today, I'm here to refute something with evidence that completely debases a typical liberal argument. What is that argument, you may ask? The effectiveness of torture on our enemies. Now, as you know, "The Great Leader" shut down Guantanamo Bay, because it was "unethical and ineffective." One of the main focuses of the liberals in this was the controversial torture method known as waterboarding. For the convenience of those who aren't familiar with this method, here you go:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waterboarding

Now we fast forward to last week. President Obama declassified a 2005 report released by the CIA that focused on Khalid Sheik Mohammed, and the "Second Wave" terrorist attack. Are you not familiar with that terrorist attack? There's a good reason. Because it never happened. We stopped it. How did we stop it? We got KSM to sing like a bird. How did we do it? That oh-so controversial torture method known as waterboarding.

Doesn't seem so innefective now. Doesn't seem to be so unethical now. Fact is, it saved American lives, which is always more important that the rights of some piece of crap terrorist. Torture doesn't work? Give me a break.

Here's the source of my info, if you're interested:

http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=46949

Seems pretty clear cut to me folks. No aid or comfort to the enemy. They attacked us first, and they continue to try to kill innocent Americans.

Until next time folks, I'm that Conservative College Guy and we are America.

How am I not surprised?

Hello, this is that Conservative College Guy, coming to you from a country where I am now considered a "radical right-wing extremist." Yeah. Sure. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a complete and total joke, and if the DHS is reading this, hi. But, that's another subject for another time. I've you've talked to me today, I've already expressed my disgust for this, but for those who didn't have the benefit of that, I will be writing something in the coming days on it.

However, today I'm here to talk about North Korea. Now, for those not familiar on the latest on what's going on in this situation:

http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/04/14/nkorea.talks/index.html

This shouldn't come as any surprise to any common sense American. We were limp wristed on this. No one stepped up after that rocket test. We told them that they shouldn't do this, and we did nothing to follow through on this. Is this the message we are sending now? That it's OK to ignore us? North Korea isn't going to care what we do now. Now they've essentially been told that they can do whatever they want.

But hey, at least we aren't seen as the bully of the world. That would be too much for us. After all, our president was built on image. Heaven forbid ours, as a nation be tarnished, even for our own safety. It sickens me, America.

Until next time, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.

What it is to be American

Readers, this blog is inspired today. It's a thought would not get of my head last night. That's not a bad thing. Far from it. It's easy to say that you're an American. Have you ever thought what it means though? Being American boils down to blessings and responsibilities.

First, the blessings. When you woke up this morning, did you feel safe? Did you feel like you were in any danger? Of course not. Today, we live without fear of persecution. You are free to be whatever you want in America. You can believe in any religion you want, have any political ideology, and within the bounds of the law, do whatever you want. This country is great because of those reasons. I believe that we live in the greatest nation in the world today because of these reasons. Despite of what the political situation is, I believe this is still a great country. No where else in the world do you have the opportunities that you have in America. Anyone, and everyone has a chance to be great here. By residing in this great nation, you've been given a gift. It is a sacred, inalienable gift that guarantees you a shot at anything you want to do. It pains me to people, especially it's own citizens complain about this nation. We've been given so much. How can you possibly complain? You can complain about the politics, you can complain about a lot of things. But it's inconceivable to me why someone would ever want to live somewhere else.

Now, the responsibilities. People argue that we as Americans have too much. We've been given too much, and I disagree. It is an inheritance. However, this inheritance isn't without conditions. We can only depend on this inheritance for so long. It's up to us to renew that inheritance generation after generation. If America is to continue to exist, it is our responsibility to do this. It's also our responsibility to try enable others to have a shot at this type of gift. If we can give a person or a nation the gift that we enjoy in the same way we earned it, then it is our duty to do so. Ronald Reagan said that freedom is always a generation away from extinction. If we don't try to give the rest of the world that gift, then that generation will come sooner, rather than later. He said that freedom isn't passed on in the bloodstream. It must continually be protected and renewed.

It's not easy to be an American. Far from it. We must continually defend the freedoms we've been given. But the rewards of being an American are great. I will always be proud to be an American. It's a quality I hope to pass on to my children, not through the bloodstream, but by educating them of these facts. I hope this blog has been informative, if not inspiring to you to write what you feel it is to be an American.

Until next time, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.

An Interesting Perspective

So, as my readers may or may not know, I'm employed at my university's Alumni Calling Center. I talk to all sorts of people there, but two calls stuck out in my mind. The president was giving a speech, so the president was on people's minds when I called.

The first call: "Well, I can't give tonight, but maybe when Obama fixes this economy, I'll be able to."

Why are you waiting for someone else to fix your finances? Hope Zombies scare me folks. They believe that the government can fix everything. It's just not true. There has to be some sort of drive to do it on your own. We, as Americans, were built on this drive. The spirit of independence is weak in the nation today. We've become dependent on the government. This isn't what we should be doing. It's shameful that we act in this way. No one man, one government can change your situation except for you. Obama tricked the nation into thinking otherwise.

The second call: "Well, I'd love to give, but that man on the TV terrifies me. He's already wiped out so much of my retirement, it only sounds like he's gonna take more."

I'm glad people have sense. Obama has only hurt this nation since he's taken office. He's taken money right out of our wallets, and ran up a debt that our children's children will be taking care of, if not beyond that. I wanted to tell this woman not to let go. I was working, so I had to stick to work related matters, but we can change this. We can fight back. We have to hold strong, we have to fight back. Obama is robbing the nation. In 2010, we can call the police on him. We can elect a strong conservative congress that will stop him from further indebting our children. Once the nation begins to wake up from the big dose of "hope" they took, we can take back the White House. It's not too late, readers. It's never too late for reason.

Until next time, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.

AIG, Class Envy, and you. Also, Obama ruining America's image.

I'm back, ladies and gentlemen. Obama is continuing to ruin America, and I've not talked about it in awhile. So first, let's take a look at how Obama is taking the office of the presidency and making a joke out of it.

This is an excerpt from my brother's facebook, detailing how Obama is... Well, an idiot.

Yes, the cheap-o gift of DVDs that our peerless leader, Barack Obama gave Gordon Brown was in fact Region 1, meaning the gift is completely worthless to the British PM.

http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2009/03/023120.php

Let's review. Since November he's suggested that Nancy Reagan held seances in the White House, hocked off incompatible DVDs to a major world leader and basically spat on anyone with a disability.

This is what happens when he doesn't have a teleprompter, which, BTW, has opened its own blog.

http://baracksteleprompter.blogspot.com/

This is your one stop shop for an inside look at who's pulling the strings in the White House.

End excerpt .

OK. I don't think I really need to comment any further on that, other than the fact that I laugh at the fact that anyone would call him tactful.

Next topic:

AIG! Oh, they're evil, they're vile... They're stealing from Americans! Curse them! Shame, shame, what a detestable company!

If you could catch the sarcasm, stop reading. Now, when we had this bailout, which I strongly oppose, we were giving AIG taxpayer money to allow them to continue running, as they had been. Part of the contracts with their workers are their bonuses. So now, they people who received these bonuses, because that's what the company was paid to do, are now being asked to give back 90% of their bonus back, and that's just the Federal tax. That doesn't count state or local tax, which could very well take the rest. This is the start of socialism folks. This is class envy.

Keep in mind though, it's not just the top execs who recieved bonuses. Average employees of AIG also recieved bonuses. However, they're being taxed in the same way. Class envy is an ugly thing. Because in the end, it just lowers everyone. America, do you want to be rich and successful? What's stopping you? Stop looking at other people who are successful, demonizing them, and claiming that they're keeping you down. Get out, if you're young, go to college right out of High School, if you're older and you don't have a degree, get back to school. If you have a degree, get out there and start looking for a job, and when you get that job, you work twice as hard as everyone else.

That's what I'm doing. I'm in school. I'm working. I'm making myself a success. You know who else did that? You know who else made himself a success? Andrew Carnegie. Adjusted for inflation, he was one of the richest men to ever live. Ever. He was born into a family of Scottish immigrants in the 1800's. Not the best way to start out. By the end, his net worth, adjusted to inflation was $298.3 billion. He got there by being the best at what he did. He worked hard, and he made it to the top. What's stopping you America? Is it envy? Then get it out of the way, and be what you know you can be.

The Real Change we Can Believe In.

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_021909/content/01125106.guest.html

Do you hear that readers? Do you hear it? I never would have believed it if I had not seen these reports, but this movement is growing faster than you can imagine. I thought this would have taken a year, at most. But we're growing now, readers. We're raising the questions that need asked. We're questioning the authority that needs questioning. All across the nation today, we questioned the unquestionable.

Obama isn't too big to lose, folks. He's facing an enemy that is bigger than him. He's facing the American Spirit. We were battered, beaten down, and left for dead, but we never stopped fighting, and now we're back. The youth of America, once thought to be one of Obama's strongholds are beginning to question him. They realize he can't possibly deliver everything he's promised. Rick Santelli of CNBC, again, another liberal stronghold, spoke out against Obama today. Everything he said struck true. We don't need to fund the losers. We don't need to bail out the people who are living beyond their means. It's not up to us responsible Americans. We need a case of tough love here. People need to learn what we learned as children. Actions have consequences.

I say this proudly today. I'm proud of my fellow Americans today. We proved something. We proved that we aren't sheep. That we're too smart to be drawn in with flowery speeches. We have the values that make us American today. Today, I stand up with the rest of my countrymen in defiance to this president who has sold the nation on false hope.

Until next time folks, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.

This just in: The government knows more than doctors about medicine.

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601039&refer=columnist_mccaughey&sid=aLzfDxfbwhzs

I was talking with my roommate today, and he said something I found poignant.

"When socialism comes to America, it will be wearing a white lab coat."

Well ladies and gentlemen, it's closer than ever today. This new part of the Porkulus bill is going to give us the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology. Now, the first part is a good thing. It's going to make our health records electronic, to prevent duplicate tests and errors. However, let's look at the second part of this. The second part calls for the government deciding what treatment you get by what they deem necessary and cost effective. Now, if this isn't the start nationalized health care, I don't know what is. Where does the government get off deciding what type of care you get? This bill scares me to no end. It should be up to the doctors and families about what procedures should and shouldn't be done. Need a heart transplant? Too bad. Not cost effective. But you can pay for it? Oh no, you can't do that, nationalized health care won't allow that.

Until next time, I'm that Conservative College Guy and we are America.

A quick one before class today.

It would seem that the banks aren't the only ones spending taxpayer money for "retreats"

http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/500k-spent-on-dem-caucus-retreats-2009-02-03.html

Pot calling the kettle black much? This is our money being used, by a political party that you may or may not agree with, and believe me, I don't, so they can have a day at the Spa. Listen, don't you think it's a bit... Backwards for democrats to scold the banks for doing the exact same things that they did?

My economic stimulus plan that won't happen.

Sorry for the gap in posts everybody, I'll blame it on lack of motivation, which is no excuse at all. I'll do my best to keep up with what's coming out, so today, I'm going to present a plan that won't happen, but it would make the economy come back so fast, it would make your head spin. It's simple, but it's effectiveness would employ millions of Americans and it would reward Americans who are actually working. Now, I'll give credit where credit is due, this isn't all my plan, my brother and I talked about it and we both agree that this is the way to get the economy running again.

1. Cut the Federal Income Tax. Get rid of it. Why? Well, look at your paycheck and look at the part that says FICA. That's a rather large chunk of your paycheck that gets taken by the government. Now imagine if that was put back into your paycheck. There's additional money put in your pocket for being a working American. If the government would suspend the federal income tax for just 2 months, we would see a huge boom in consumer spending, which is part of what we need to get the economy up and running again.

2. Cut the capital gains tax. In fact, get rid of it. Again, just a two month trial period at first for the skeptics, but once Wall Street starts coming back by leaps and bounds, we'll see companies hiring people left and right. This helps the large companies. Where do the small companies buy their supplies from? The large companies. Who can reduce their costs once the capital gains tax is gone? The large companies. This makes it easier for small businesses to hire more people, and for more small businesses to start. So what do we get out of this so far? People being hired to jobs that give them higher wages to put back in to the economy.

3. If you insist on having government jobs, make them useful. Two examples. Have the government hire people who actively monitor welfare recipients. If they aren't making any effort to get a job, it's not our problem to continue funding their laziness. This gets more people off welfare and gets more people into jobs. Example 2? Border patrol. This prevents illegals from getting into this country and receiving benefits that they don't deserve, and again, gives people steady jobs. If liberals insist on having government jobs, us conservatives will be glad to meet you half way.

That's the plan. Like I said, it's simple, and it's brutally effective. But... It won't happen. Liberals are too concerned with trying to get in their pet projects that they've been drooling over for the past 20 years. This is not the time for that. Liberals are being greedy here, trying to set up their empire for years to come, at the cost of the American citizen. That's obviously "change" we can believe in.

Oh, and because I laughed a good 5 minutes over this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8hMJVXt09E

Really? 500 Million a month? Pelosi, you senile old lady... Just go sit down and the nurse will bring you your medication after Murder She Wrote.

Doing the right thing.

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/toby_harnden/blog/2009/01/29/hollow_victory_republicans_deliver_slap_in_the_face_to_barack_obama

Ladies and gentlemen, I have some bittersweet news today. First, the bitter part of it. Obama's stimulus plan has passed the US House of Representatives. This plan is doomed to fail, and it will send the US into even more debt. Anyone with half a brain can see this package is loaded with pork, and anything that isn't pork is the government cannibalizing the private sector.

The good news? The good news is that Republicans banded together to send Obama a message of defiance. Unanimously, Republicans voted no on this, putting up 188 votes saying that this plan will only further hurt the American public. Conservatives in this country aren't as fringe the media will lead you to believe. It's not just people like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity saying this plan is junk. This is one of the best examples of party unity I've ever seen. I mean, even 11 Democrats voted against this bill.

Why is it important that Republicans stand against this bill? There are 2 reasons:

1. It shows just how much of a "Great Unifier" Obama is. Even memebers of the house that he sat down with and talked with personally weren't convinced by this load of crap. Obama claimed he'd take conservative concerns seriously, and then he refused to put any tax cuts on this. Don't buy in to what the media is saying. Obama is a LIBERAL. He only has his party's best interests in mind, and he'll lie about being bipartisan at every turn. This wouldn't be a big deal if he wasn't lying about being bipartisan, but it just shows how much of a snake he is.

2. Once this policy comes to it's inevitable conclusion of failure, and mark my words, it will fail, the Democrats can't place any sort of blame on Republicans. It will wreck their party's image for years. It will be 1994 all over again in 2010, and Republicans will take back the Congress in a big way. That's when the fun really begins. You say you want to see the recovery of the GOP? This is laying the foundation for a huge return. As long as we stand strong against Obama, we can expose him for the fool that he is.

When I first read this story, it was one of the few points of happiness I've read in politics in the past month. When we band together like this, even when we don't have the majority, we can still send a powerful message. Prepare for the resurgence of the right, because it is coming folks. We can take Obama's legacy and drag it through the mud. We can prove that he is all sizzle and no steak.

Until next time folks, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.

Facebook-like stupid petitioning by the Democratic Party.

We got a good one today folks, because just reading this article inspired so much rage that I could actually feel my blood pressure rising.

http://cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=42616

There are two reasons why this angers me:

1. A common cry of Democrats and liberals right now is that Republicans and conservatives just need to grow up. So why does this petition seem like a petition being passed around Facebook by some teenage girls because they don't like what they serve in their high school cafeteria? This is probably the most childish thing ever conceived by the Democratic party. How dare they have someone who calls them out on who they are? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I understand that, but that doesn't mean your opinion makes you look mature, in fact, it can have quite the opposite effect. This is another prime example of a private citizen being attacked by the government.

2. They didn't play the full clip. They didn't explain what he said at all. Allow me to present the full transcript of what was said:

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_011609/content/01125113.guest.html

Now, actually reading this transcript gives a completely different story. Mr. Limbaugh harbors no ill will towards Barack Obama, the person. However, Rush does not want to see his policies succeed. And why would he? I don't recall liberals exactly rooting for any policies that Bush set out. Double standards are running wild right now. Rush doesn't have to apologize for anything he's said, and he should continue saying it. Opposing opinions are something that makes this country great. Liberals are trying to destroy a cornerstone of American Politics right now.

Readers, I strongly suggest that you support Rush right now. He's the sole voice of conservative reason in these times right now. Send your emails the Democratic Congressional Campaign Comittee, asking why they are attacking a private citizen and why they are so afraid of someone with an opposite point of view.

Global Warming. IT'S A TRAP!

This is just gonna be a quick repost from my facebook, but this is more for any new readers than anything:

http://www.mlive.com/opinion/flint/index.ssf/2009/01/its_time_to_pray_for_global_wa.html

CO2 Emissions have nothing to do with Global warming. Global warming isn't happening right now. Global warming is a SCAM. I know this is going to be hard to believe, but Al Gore shouldn't be your prime source of information on climate. I'm going to side with 650 of the world's top climatologists and say it's a scam. After all, polar ice caps are up 5% since 1980. While that might not seem like a significant amount, it's a lot better than us losing polar ice.

So folks, don't get red in the face about going green. It's all a scam invented by liberals to make you feel guilty for polluting the earth and to atone for your guilt, they expect you to vote their people into office.

Until next time folks, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.

Bipartisanship. Believe it or not, conservatives are capable of it too.

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_012609/content/01125108.guest.html

Now, I know this is going to hurt my Liberal guests to read this, but please, just read this and give it a fair shot.

Now, if you couldn't stand to read that, I'll give you the too long/didn't read version of it:

Obama is calling for a 1 Trillion dollar economic stimulus package. Now, the voter percentages broke down to roughly 54% Obama to 46% McCain in the last election. So, why not break up the stimulus package that way? Allow conservatives to use 460 billion as they see fit, and liberals can use 540 billion as they see fit, and then we'll observe the results. Everyone gets a piece of what they want. This is compromise. This is a true representation of the spirit of Bipartisanship.

Now, granted, I'd love to have the entire 1 Trillion for use by conservatives, but that isn't going to happen. So why not have this plan? It satisfies both ends, and allows for both sides to have a say, according to the votes they recieved, which represents this country more accurately.

So, what do conservatives want to use it for? Tax cuts, capital gains, and corporate tax rate reduction. We could also put it to use by reducing personal income tax rates. Now, a lot of you may be saying that that only really helps the companies, but buy helping the companies, it will help you. Don't believe me? Who hires our professionals in this country? Companies. Who are the professionals in this country? The college-educated population. The goal is to make more good paying jobs for Americans, not more minimum wage jobs. Once the corporations start getting back on their feet, the private sector will follow along. After all, who does the small businesses buy their supplies from? The big corporations.

Listen, I know Democrats talk about bipartisanship all the time. Now, it's time to stop talking about it and start being about it. This is a solid plan that allows everyone to get what they want. The olive branch has been extended to Liberals, now will you accept it?

Until next time, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.

Hello, and welcome to America in crisis.

Hello folks, and welcome to the first of hopefully many blogs that will discuss the crisis we have here in America today. I am your humble blogger, That Conservative College Guy, Jordan Bogart. A quick background on me:

I am a freshman Indiana State University as a Management Information Systems major. I was excited to escape Illinois, thinking I'd be moving to a red state, finally, but unfortunately Indiana disappointed this election cycle and went blue. I am also a Christian, I believe in God and his son's teachings, and that's a large part of me being a conservative. I'm also a follower of common sense, as I believe most true conservatives are.

In case you don't know exactly where I stand, let me show you where I stand on common political issues:

I am Pro-Life. Abortions have no place in this world and they are murder. I'll be re-posting a note from my Facebook here that has the details on that.

The government is not here to hand out welfare at every turn. I'm fine with people getting help when they truly need it. I'm not OK with people abusing the welfare system, leeching of people who make an honest living and work hard to keep their family fed, sheltered, clothed and protected. I believe welfare should be reduced to make there be motivation for people to want to get out of their situation.

I support the War on Terror. What happened on September 11th was absolutely inexcusable. Radical Islamic terrorists hating America for being the most successful nation on this planet (for now) and killing our citizens because of it is inexcusable. We need to stop these terrorists by whatever means necessary. If we need to torture the terrorists to protect American lives, then by all means, we need to do it. These terrorists have to be stopped if we are to enjoy any semblance of peace again.

I believe Global Warming is a scam. Again, this is something else I'll be re-posting from my Facebook, but it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that the earth's climate moves in cycles. Don't buy the liberal agenda that you are to blame for this. Even if this was true, Al Gore, the champion of global warming, is the biggest hypocrite on this planet, flying private jets and having a complex that leaves one of the biggest "carbon footprints" to be seen.

I think you can see where I'm going with all of this. I'm a real conservative. Not one of these new "conservatives" that are pushing for more moderate policies. I'll be honest, I didn't vote in the 2008 election because it was a choice between two liberals. If I was asked to choose one, I would have chose McCain, but only for Sarah Palin. Palin represented a return to Reagan style conservatism, and that's what this country needs right now. Reagan's economic policies lead to the success that Clinton takes credit for in the 90's. Don't believe me? Look at the economy near the end of Clinton's time in office. It was starting to fall, and something people don't give Bush 43 enough credit for is for pulling us out of the 2001 recession.

In general, this blog will be about criticizing our current administration. Now, you might ask, why do something like that, that's not fair. I humbly disagree with you. The mainstream media (MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS) has attacked George W. Bush for the past 8 years, and they aren't treating Obama with the same style of criticism. Therefore, it's up to the little guy to do that. It's up to us common sense Conservatives to make this right. That's why I made this blog, so that the voice of conservatives could be heard. Obama is already trying to silence our voice, by attacking one of my favorite talk radio personalities, Rush Limbaugh. He has no right to do this, and I know Rush will continue on, and so will I. If you want "change" you can honestly believe in, look critically at this administration, and then in 2010, begin the process by taking this liberal congress out of power.

Until next time folks, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.
