Bipartisanship. Believe it or not, conservatives are capable of it too.

Now, I know this is going to hurt my Liberal guests to read this, but please, just read this and give it a fair shot.

Now, if you couldn't stand to read that, I'll give you the too long/didn't read version of it:

Obama is calling for a 1 Trillion dollar economic stimulus package. Now, the voter percentages broke down to roughly 54% Obama to 46% McCain in the last election. So, why not break up the stimulus package that way? Allow conservatives to use 460 billion as they see fit, and liberals can use 540 billion as they see fit, and then we'll observe the results. Everyone gets a piece of what they want. This is compromise. This is a true representation of the spirit of Bipartisanship.

Now, granted, I'd love to have the entire 1 Trillion for use by conservatives, but that isn't going to happen. So why not have this plan? It satisfies both ends, and allows for both sides to have a say, according to the votes they recieved, which represents this country more accurately.

So, what do conservatives want to use it for? Tax cuts, capital gains, and corporate tax rate reduction. We could also put it to use by reducing personal income tax rates. Now, a lot of you may be saying that that only really helps the companies, but buy helping the companies, it will help you. Don't believe me? Who hires our professionals in this country? Companies. Who are the professionals in this country? The college-educated population. The goal is to make more good paying jobs for Americans, not more minimum wage jobs. Once the corporations start getting back on their feet, the private sector will follow along. After all, who does the small businesses buy their supplies from? The big corporations.

Listen, I know Democrats talk about bipartisanship all the time. Now, it's time to stop talking about it and start being about it. This is a solid plan that allows everyone to get what they want. The olive branch has been extended to Liberals, now will you accept it?

Until next time, I'm that Conservative College Guy, and we are America.
